South African Soul – 12 days of Pure Luxury!

Experience pure South African soul in complete luxury and indulgence as you enjoy exceptional 4 and 5 star accommodation to accompany our world class service throughout your stay!

In Johannesburg you will understand the legacy of apartheid as you explore symbolic sites of the remnants of South Africa’s dark past in Johannesburg and Soweto. You will experience the bustling centre of the Muslim communities in Johannesburg and visit one of the many mosques in the city. In Pretoria you will visit the historical the historical Voortrekker Monument as well as the seat of the national government at the Union Buildings. Experience authentic Ottoman Turkey with a South African flavour at the spectacular Nizamiye Masjid in Midrand (the biggest masjid in the Southern Hemisphere). You get to enjoy leisure and shopping at Sandton City Shopping Centre (one of Africa’s leading and most prestigious shopping centres) and the Nelson Mandela Square which has a towering 6 metre bronze statue of South Africa’s iconic first President, Nelson Mandela.

Your wildlife adventure begins with a visit to the Muslim owned Game Reserve where you will experience expertly guided safaris and witness animals in their natural habitat – even a chance encounter with a pride of lions or an endangered species perhaps! Starting your coastal adventure you visit Storms River and the ancient indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest, a world of giant trees, forest ferns, clear streams and brightly coloured birds. Via a unique canopy tour, you will experience all the beauty and splendour that this forest has to offer. We visit the Bloukrans Bridge where you have the option to enjoy the world’s highest commercial bungee jump at 216m! The tranquil town of Plettenberg Bay hosts you for a visit to Africa’s largest open air bird sanctuary before arriving at the jewel of the Garden Route, Knysna which is voted the most popular destination for locals and tourists. Knysna offers many activities and attractions of a wide variety including a ferry ride around the Knysna lagoon.

You would venture into South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction at the Cango Caves and discover history dating back thousands of years in this labyrinth of corridors and tunnels. Being in the ostrich capital of South Africa would necessitate an opportunity to learn about and interact with these big birds at the ostrich farm. A visit to the wildlife ranch will allow for close encounters with big cats and reptiles in a truly memorable experience before spending the night in the scenic town of George. During season, you would experience Hermanus on the Cape Whale Coast which is famous for its breathtaking views, numerous outdoor activities, and arguably the very best whale watching in the world (during June to late November).

Arriving in Cape Town, you will visit places of sheer amazement and understand the traces of the first Muslims to have set foot on these shores. You will be walked through the richness of the local Cape Malay Muslim community in Bo Kaap and District Six and visit the first masjid built in South Africa over 200 years ago. A spectacular shoreline journey of the Cape Peninsula will take you to Cape point, the very tip of the continent of Africa as well as scenic towns of Hout Bay and Simonstown. Visit the penguin nature reserve and see these delightful creatures in their natural habitat. A tour of this majestic city is incomplete without scaling the heights of the iconic landmark, Table Mountain and spending relaxation time at the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens.
