Tour Summary:
This tour includes a drive to the picturesque coastal village of Gordans Bay which is nestled at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountains and the False Bay Coast, as well as a visit to Strand’s main attraction for swimming – its five kilometers of white sandy beach. We then proceed to Hermanus on the Cape Whale Coast which is famous for its breathtaking views, numerous outdoor activities, and arguably the very best land based whale watching in the world (during June to November). On catamarans specially designed for whale watching, you are taken out to sea and come to within 50m of the whales where you can observe these magnificent creatures in their natural environment! The operator has excellent safety records and the friendly and expert crew will leave no stone unturned in order that you may learn and see as much about these gentle giants as possible.
